It’s no secret we’re spending more and more time surfing the internet, but recent studies indicate this activity might hold dear consequences. Depression, it seems, is tied in with our use of the web. Young adults in particular seem to experience co-occurring depression and internet addiction. It also remains unclear to what degree excessive use of the internet affects our mental health.
